Teams in Need of a Quarterback

Houston Texans
This team is talented on both sides of the ball, last year their less than stellar quarterback play hurt them so badly they ended up with the top pick in the 2014 draft after back to back seasons of making the playoffs.  Matt Schaub has left town and they carry Ryan Fitzpatrick, T.J. Yates and Case Keenum on their roster, they need someone better then anyone I just listed.  In reality this team is probably just a QB away from making the playoffs again.

Jacksonville Jaguars
This team has not had much luck as of late finding a quarterback of the future, Gabbert did not work out and Chad Henne is nothing to write home about either.  This team cannot afford to miss out on a quarterback because their division will only get harder, the Colts are making lots of noise in the NFL, the Titans are improving and the Texans only need a QB to be a playoff team.  Chad Henne may be able to ride out most of the 2014 season but it is time to get another QB on the roster to groom and help build around for the future.

Cleveland Browns
Back in 2012 the Browns selected Brandon Weeden and he is now a backup in Dallas, the Browns have Hoyer at QB but could add another one via the draft to help win more games in 2014.  They have a defense that added some solid players as well as an offense that features Josh Gordon and the addition of Ben Tate at running back.  A quarterback is a must here for this team whether it be the 4th or 26th pick in the first round.  I would not be surprised if they take Johnny Manziel at number 4 and starting building around him.

Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings carry Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder on their roster, that is cringe-worthy, it is time for an upgrade in Minnesota at the quarterback spot.  The Vikings already have something a young QB needs and that is a running game with the best running back in the league in Adrian Peterson.  The Vikings must move in a new and better direction and quarterback and that starts with the 2014 draft.

Oakland Raiders
Sure they acquired Matt Schaub but they should look at another quarterback to groom behind him and put into a game in the event Schaub struggles like he did back during the 2014 season.  The Raiders are adding veteran players and seem to be in the "win now" mindset, but adding a young QB via the draft will not hurt them.  If they can find someone they like and groom them and build around them for the future they will do better in the future.
