How the Browns Should Draft in the First Round of the 2014 NFL Draft

In 2012 the Cleveland Browns selected Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden in the first round, since then Richardson has been traded and Weeden was cut.  This year the Browns hold two first round picks again, one due to the trade of Richardson to the Colts back in 2013, they pick at number 4 and also number 26 (via the Colts), they need to make better decisions this time around.  Here are my ideas of how they should approach the first round:

Scenario 1:

Pick #4: Johnny Manziel, a young quarterback who could help spark this offense and electrify the Cleveland faithful.  The Browns have worked him out, and I think he would be a good fit for a team trying to turn themselves around after all these years of failing and falling short.

Pick #26: Davante Adams, a receiver from Fresno State who can be paired up with Josh Gordon who made a name for himself last season even with different quarterbacks starting and being put in games.  The Browns need to help him out.

Scenario 2:

Pick #4: Sammy Watkins, adding another threat would be beneficial to this team and also to Josh Gordon and it would help Watkins grow as well.

Pick #26: A.J. McCarron, I think he could be picked here, and I feel that he would be the best QB available here as well.  I do not see Derek Carr being available past the Cardinals pick, and as for Bridgewater, Manziel and Bortles I feel they will not be around here either.

The Browns are in a great position this year to better themselves, and they signed running back Ben Tate in the off-season so it is time to continue building and draft better in this years first round and make up for the 2012 first round.
