25. San Diego Chargers
Needs: Defense
The Chargers ranked 29th against the pass last year, tied for 26th in interceptions and tied for 23rd in sacks. The defense needs improvement in those areas, safety, corner back and linebacker are good picks for them to improve their team. They improved offensively in 2013, and I feel they will continue in 2014, time to bolster themselves on the other side of the ball.
26. Indianapolis Colts (Browns pick here via trade but I want to cover all 32 teams)
Needs: Running Back, Linebacker
The Colts traded this very pick away for running back Trent Richardson who did not do much for the Colts last season, so the Colts need to look for another running back. I do not want to say give up on him yet but running back is a big need on this team. The Colts could also go for the position of linebacker in this draft as well to help in the run and pass game.
27. New Orleans Saints
Needs: Running Back, Linebacker, Defensive Line
The Saints are also in need of help at the running back spot, they ranked 20th last season in the run and must improve that to continue to play well. I love Drew Brees but having a run game is important as well! The Saints also made a huge turnaround last season on defense, but I still feel they can add some more help to the defensive line and the linebacker spots. They got the help in the secondary this off season, so time to focus on those spots.
28. Carolina Panthers
Needs: Wide Receiver, Offensive Line, Tight End
The Panthers are not looking great at their receiver position this year, they cut Steve Smith, Brandon Lafell left as well as Ted Ginn JR. The Panthers need help and badly at this spot, they could take a receiver in round one. They should also continue to build talent at the OL position and also at tight end. If they do not improve this offense Cam Newton will be in for a long season in 2014.
