Synopsis:
This game has a lot riding on it tonight, the Saints sit at 9-2 and the Seahawks at 10-1, the winner of this game is most likely to have home field advantage in the NFC playoffs. Both teams are ranked in the top 5 in total defense by yards allowed (Seahawks are 2nd and Saints are 5th).
The Saints have been explosive on offense this season and have been playing good defense as well, with Sean Payton being back and the addition of Rob Ryan as the defensive coordinator have turned this team around. As mentioned above the Saints are 5th in yards allowed, they are 3rd in passing yards allowed and 15th against the run which could be an issue because the Seahawks are 2nd in rushing yards. The Saints while being 2nd in passing offense will be up against the 1st rated pass defense, but I feel the Saints can beat this defense.
The Seahawks have been in some close ones this season and have won all but one of those close games when they lost to the Colts on the road. This season the Seahawks are 5-1 in games decided by 7 points or less, but can they throw the ball to keep up with the Saints? The Seahawks have scored the 2nd most points per game this season, so they could hang in tough against the Saints offense. They're running game can keep the ball out of the Saints hands as well.
Prediction:
Saints win in Seattle, it will be close early on and the Saints will pull away late, I see a late touchdown putting the game away at the score of 35-20
