2014 NFL Season Monday Night Football Predictions Week 4

New England Patriots at the Kansas City Chiefs
8:30 PM ESPN

The New England Patriots improved to 2-1 on the season against the Oakland Raiders by the score of 16-9, the downfall of the Patriots this season has been their offensive line and their ability or rather lack there of to score points in the second half of games which is only 12 in three games this season so far.  They are ranked 1st in pass yards allowed on defense and 12th in rush yards allowed which is a good sign considering that their offensive ranks are not that great.

The Chiefs won their first game of the season against the Miami Dolphins on the road and were able to run the ball very well despite not having Jamaal Charles.  Their offensive rankings are better than New England's this season in regards to total yards and rushing.  As of right now Jamaal Charles is expected to play Monday Night against New England which is a plus for the Chiefs.  If he can go not only can he hurt any team on the ground but also in the passing attack as well.

Prediction:
The Patriots squeak out a close one 21-17 on the road by running the ball early and shutting down Alex Smith and the Chiefs pass game.
